International effort to combat cyber crime in developing countries

Launched the "international coalition to protect the security of the Internet" research project set up to determine the mechanism of the evolution of cyber attacks over the next eight years, in an effort combat cyber crime in developing countries.
The project will provide guidance to governments and local authorities on the best available means to counter these attacks.


The organization, which includes legal entities and security companies and commercial companies such as "Visa Europe" and the space and air defense of the European, that provide opportunities to use the Internet in parts of the continents of Africa, Asia and Eastern Europe will lead to the emergence of problems.

In spite of the international project that has just started, the International Organization had already begun to take some steps.
He started by members of the agency against serious organized crime in Britain to work with the Government of Ghana in February to help them to take technical measures to prevent cyber crime and ensure the prosecution of perpetrators.
Lyons said that Nigeria, Botswana, Uganda and Rwanda among the target countries within the framework of the international campaign.
He added that these countries are beginning to benefit from improved Internet services, they will suffer in the face of cyber crime associated with the development of Internet services.
